    Pro-Life, pt1

Life is valuable, and Jesus is life. When you diminish life by saying that not all life is valuable, you diminish the redemptive act of Jesus. If killing children is not wrong, then nothing is really wrong. If nothing is really wrong, there is no sin. If there is no sin, then we don’t need a Savior. If we don’t need a Savior, then Jesus is irrelevant. Show notes (posted every Tuesday) can be found HERE. https://www.nrpastors.com/podcastnotes #leadership #KeithTucci #podcast #

If you stay in contact with all the different soils in your church, you will hit water every time. As a leader of a growing church, you have to spend a lot of your meeting time with your top leaders. The Art of the Meeting, pt3

When the majority of your meetings are spontaneous or as needed, something else besides you is driving the vision. Many leaders make fatal errors or don’t act quickly because they are simply operating on old information. Who you are meeting with is important. Do that on purpose every time. If you stay in contact with all the different soils in your church, you will hit water every time. Show notes (posted every Tuesday) can be found HERE. https://www.nrpastors.com/podcastnote

Atmosphere does have something to do with the ability of people to receive. The cleanliness, the comfortability, the temperature, the chairs, the lighting, the sou

When we take the time to set the atmosphere, it tells people that they are important and have been invited to something important. Comfortable chairs and favorable lighting can make all the difference in people’s ability to receive and engage in a meeting. Preparing questions ahead of time to promote engagement and discussion is a must during preparation. And ending with clear action items helps people know what is happening next and that the time together was valuable. Show

SHOW NOTES The Art of the Meeting, pt1 Leadership in Context with Keith Tucci Episode 197 Today we reached far back in the archives to bring back the very first series we did on Leadership in Context—The Art of the Meeting. I have found that there is a systematic weakness in regularly scheduled leadership meetings in many churches. That weakness is directly correlated to the lack of first level disciples. Bible experts suggest that Jesus spent 73% of His time with small group

The Art of the Meeting, pt1

Today we dove far back into the archives to the first series we did called The Art of the Meeting. Bible experts suggest that Jesus spent 73% of His time with small groups in strategic situations. Who are you meeting with, how often are you meeting, why do you meet, and what is your meeting culture. The answers to those questions are critical to the forward momentum of your church vision. What the Church Does, pt3

SHOW NOTES What the Church Does, pt3 Leadership in Context with Keith Tucci Episode 196 The Church has an upward relationship with God, an inward relationship with the members of the body of Christ, and an outward relationship with the world. You don’t wait until one is perfect to do the next, but you do have to be legitimately pursuing excellence in one to go to the next. The sequence of upward, inward, and outward is biblical. We worship God (upward), we “one another'' each

    What the Church Does, pt3

Discipleship without evangelism is not discipleship; it’s just a personal growth strategy. Disciples make disciples and part of that process should be teaching and demonstrating how to share your faith with someone. Evangelism should be just as central to us as going to church, tithing, or walking in forgiveness. BONUS Episode: Update from Ukraine

SHOW NOTES BONUS Episode: Update from Ukraine Leadership in Context with Keith Tucci Episode 195 Keith Tucci interviews Pastor Mervin Strother on their experience in Ukraine. While there, they took a 17-hour van trip deep into Ukraine. They went to Kharkiv, which had recently been attacked, to distribute food. They saw destruction. The ground was shaking because bombs were going off about 5 miles away. But they also saw a church that was alive, a church full of joy, a church

    What the Church Does, pt2

SHOW NOTES What the Church Does, pt2 Leadership in Context with Keith Tucci Episode 194 The Church operates in three dimensions: Upward—worship Inward—body life, fellowship Outward—evangelism, the Great Commission Our first responsibility, our first privilege as believers, is to worship God. If you take away our freedom, luxuries, and abilities, we still would be able to worship. The second part is inward—what we are as the Church. When you read the New Testament and divide a

How we act toward the Lord, obviously, is important, but a lot of people will never see that. How we act towards one another, just about everyone sees. The greatest outward problem we have today is that we have an inward problem. We are to love the body, the brothers, like Jesus loved. That is the inward standard. If we get our inward act together, there will be a radical change in the culture of our church–and the world will benefit. Show notes (posted every Tuesday) can be

    Divine Compassion for Ukraine

Thank you for standing with us as we stand with those in Ukraine. In Matthew 9, it says that Jesus was moved with compassion when He saw the multitude. God’s compassion is released in us when we see things–not just with our natural eyes, but with our spiritual eyes. I believe God stores up things in us that He can tap later for divine compassion to be released. That’s why Pastor Keith Tucci is leading the charge to make sure the Ukrainian believers stay connected. Show notes

    What the Church Does, pt1

SHOW NOTES What the Church Does, pt1 Leadership in Context with Keith Tucci Episode 192 There is a lot more talk about what the Church does than what the Church is. If you don’t get the IS right, you’ll always mess up the DOES, because the DOES will get weird on you. Understanding the picture of the Church from Ephesians (which is what we covered in the series before this one) is very critical. When you look at what the Church IS, you have to translate that to what the Church

The church operates in three dimensions–upward, inward, and outward. The Church should be all three. But we have to get the first thing first. Access is the foundation for the UPWARD ministry of the Church. Your growth and the fruit you bear will be determined by how you use your access more than what gifts and opportunities you have. Ephesians Study, pt6

The picture that Paul paints here in Ephesians 6, is one of people who relate to each other–not on the basis of their social or financial status, but rather on the basis of promoting the gospel. The reason I’m friends with some of my dearest friends is because we have an agenda—we want to promote the gospel. That promotion of the gospel, that promotion of the Church, binds our hearts together in whatever we are doing and causes us to cherish those relationships beyond just th
