What We Do

The Network of Related Pastors exists to strengthen the local church by strengthening the leaders God has entrusted with it. We are a covenant tribe of pastors and churches connected through relationship, accountability, and shared mission.

NRP is built around pastors standing together. Churches linked together by choice, on purpose, and for the purpose of generations being empowered to lead. Leaders being equipped to engage culture, and advance the gospel in every sphere and to build with integrity and longevity. This takes shape through: relational care, practical equipping, global missions, theological and leadership training, next generation investment, and shared wisdom from leaders who have walked the road.

2025 Year in Review Video

NRP provides a place where pastors do not lead alone. It is a covenant tribe made up of trusted, proven leaders who have spent years faithfully serving in the trenches of the local church. There is genuine camaraderie and shared responsibility.

When you join NRP, you receive counsel, content, and commission. This culture builds confidence at the local church level while allowing your gifts and calling to strengthen the entire tribe. You need a tribe. The tribe needs you.

This covenant is not just what we believe. It is how we function. From that foundation flows the relational care, equipping, and shared mission that define life inside NRP.

RELATIONSHIP & EQUIPPING

We believe leaders thrive in covenant, not isolation.

NRP is deeply relational. We believe in one-on-one connection, personal care, and walking together through real ministry challenges. A leader’s family should have people who are genuinely committed to their care, encouragement, and support.

Alongside that relational foundation, we provide intentional spaces for equipping through gatherings such as the Winter Leadership Conference, as well as annual Women’s and Men’s Conferences designed to strengthen leaders and their teams.

SCHOOL OF MINISTRY

Healthy leaders are developed intentionally, not accidentally.

The NRP School of Ministry is the local church’s Bible school, created to develop healthy, grounded leaders who carry both character and calling. It is a 12-month intensive for those called to five-fold ministry as well as those pursuing key support roles within the church.

Through biblical instruction, practical training, and relational leadership development, the School of Ministry equips students to serve effectively in the local church and beyond. Utilizing Zoom classes, two live teaching weekends, regional gatherings, self-study, and video lessons, the program allows students to remain fully engaged in their local church while completing the school.

THISGEN

The next generation isn’t the future church, they are today’s emerging leaders.

Raising the next generation is not optional. It is urgent. ThisGen represents a focused, strategic investment in middle school and high school students, youth leaders, and future pastors. We believe the time is now to make room, pass the baton, and empower the next generation to lead with conviction and courage.

We do this by equipping youth leaders through our Youth Leader Intensive and investing directly in students through our annual Youth Camp, creating environments that are substantive, Spirit-filled, and transformational. We also provide curriculum for youth pastors and leaders, along with regular cultural updates to help them engage the world around them from a biblical worldview.

ORDINATION

Ordination affirms calling and anchors leaders in covenant.

NRP offers licensing and ordination to qualified ministers serving in our covenant churches. In an increasingly post-Christian culture, we believe credentialing through a recognized and credible body of ministers brings meaningful value both within the church and in the broader community.

Many institutions recognize or require ministerial credentials for ministry opportunities in places such as correctional facilities, hospitals, youth centers, and other community settings. NRP believes these are important mission fields and works alongside local churches to help leaders serve effectively in them.

Both licensing and ordination are offered, and each candidate is considered personally on a case-by-case basis. You can read more about the requirements HERE.

MISSIONS

Local churches carry the gospel farther together than alone.

NRP connects local churches with meaningful missions opportunities around the world. We partner with GlobalROAR and other local-church-based mission initiatives within NRP churches to train and equip leaders globally while supporting ongoing work developed by local churches. We help churches engage the nations with compassion, conviction, and strategic opportunity.

One hundred percent of every missions dollar given through NRP goes directly to the field it is designated for. There is no overhead, no administrative fees, and no salaries paid from these offerings. Every dollar is stewarded with integrity and purpose.

CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT

Truth was never meant to stay inside church walls.

We believe the Church is the pillar of truth, and it is truth that sets people free. The Church has been entrusted with a prophetic mantle to share that truth in venues and forums beyond the church walls. We are called to exercise our faith and liberty to speak in the marketplace. Issues of family, sexuality, and the sacredness of life are paramount to the heart of God.

NRP has a legacy in this arena and believes the gospel is not confined to church expression alone. We unequivocally believe that life begins at conception and is precious to God. We believe the shedding of innocent blood has polluted our land and compromised our culture. Until the legalized murder of unborn children is eradicated, we will not experience God’s full blessing and harvest. We encourage every church to educate its members and equip them to understand this conflict, and for each church to speak out and practically engage the life issue at the local level.

DISASTER RELIEF

When crisis hits, the Church shows up with both compassion and hope.

NRP is committed not only to global impact, but also to standing with our brothers and sisters here in the United States when disaster strikes. We maintain a fully equipped Go Trailer, ready to deploy in response to natural disasters.

Our teams serve communities by helping clean up, rebuild, and most importantly, care for the hurting. In every response, we bring practical help along with the hope found only in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this by identifying key local churches in the affected area and working in partnership with them.

ALLIANCE DEFENDING FREEDOM (ADF)

Standing for truth requires both courage and wise representation.

NRP supports, partners with, and promotes Alliance Defending Freedom, the largest Christian legal advocacy organization in the United States. We believe churches and leaders who engage the public square should have the strongest legal representation available.

Through ADF, many NRP pastors have successfully navigated cultural and legal challenges, standing firm in faith while advancing the gospel beyond the walls of the church.
