We started recovery and rebuild of flooded churches and homes in South Louisiana on Monday, August 15th. Sixteen days of hard labor, sweat, tears and joy happened. Marvelous Mary and I are fervently involved, facilitating work crews and doing the work. We have learned to suffer with those who suffer and to bring hope and help. What a privilege and a joy!

So much recovery and rebuilding needs to be done! One hundred and ten thousand homes flooded plus businesses and churches. And most individuals and churches have no flood insurance as they were not in a flood zone.
Good Report: So far we have raised $25,000. My goal is $60,000. I was able to hand two five thousand dollars checks to two different pastors. One wept as I handed it to him. Thanks for giving!

From time to time, I hear of setbacks and storms in local churches. Most pastors are under the gun, overworked and carrying too many burdens. Tired but not necessarily burned out. If you are not there as you read this, those seasons will certainly come. We live in enemy territory! Good news, remember who we serve. We serve the God of Heaven, “The Most High rules in the Kingdom of men…” Daniel 4:18 NKJV. I read a late night T.V. comedian truthful comments: “Tsunamis, earth qua
