I wanted to give a report and update coming out of our National Conference. Bob Sorge was our special guest and delivered three revelation messages: Hanging on to God, Loyalty, and Worship. David Loveless, a friend of several of ours, shared on the tragedy and consequences of his own personal moral failure and warning signs he should have recognized—a message that every leader should hear. Mary Aguillard shared a great message about not hiding in your baggage. Penny and I did a team teaching on working together in ministry. Brother Rod shared about the need for deep river worship. In addition to great messages, Harvest and the Freedom Fellowship worship team brought us into the refreshing presence of the Lord. We enjoyed great hospitality and terrific weather!
The Alliance Defending Freedom, our nation’s largest Christian legal group, had a representative at our National Conference. I have personally been defended by this group on several occasions on free speech issues and have won each time! They are offering a new program for local churches to become affiliate members. For just a few hundred dollars a year, a local church can pick up the phone and call a constitutional attorney. The ADF is currently representing some of the current high-profile cases involving Christian liberty before the Supreme Court. You can find ADF’s Church Alliance information on the EQUIP part of our website. We highly encourage every local church to take advantage of this opportunity.

WOMEN’S EVENTS
In 2019, we will be holding regional Women’s Conferences in the spring in addition to a Pastors Wives’ Conference later in 2019. We will keep you posted on dates and places.
WORSHIP LEADERS
Beginning early summer this year, NRP will be hosting a monthly video chat for worship leaders. If you lead worship at your church and are interested in participating in these calls, please have your pastor contact us. We are excited for the community, relationships, and encouragement that is going to take place through this.
INTENSIVES
Pastoring has never had more challenges and distractions, so it's important we keep our eyes on reaching more people. NRP is sponsoring three regional Church Growth Intensives for our covenant members. These are not conferences but working round tables where we are going to share and give you tools on six strategic areas. We are asking every NRP Pastor and wife to attend one of these—that’s how important we deem them to be. Your hotel, registration, and food is covered by NRP. You just have to get there. We understand that for some couples this will require planning and sacrifice. Your ministry is worth it! Please take advantage of this investment that is being offered to you. We are living in critical times—God wants the church you pastor to impact your community! Register now HERE. You may bring key leaders from your church; they will be responsible for their hotel accommodations, but we will cover their food. We only ask they attend the intensive in its entirety. Jesus said He would build His church and the gates of hell would not overcome—that includes your church!
YOUTH EVENTS
We are hosting a North and South Youth Camp!

MEN’S EVENTS
We have already begun planning our North and South BOB. I want to encourage you men to put it on your calendar (tell your wife) and start saving so that you won’t miss this impacting time. Registration will open soon.
BOB NORTH: Sturgis, Michigan, on October 04-06
BOB SOUTH: Chalmette, Louisiana, on November 08-10
