Tuesday, October 4th, Mary and I visited with Pastor Wes & Melissa. He and his wife are a close friend of NRP. We toured their church facility Revival Temple in Walker, Louisiana that is in rebuild. The sanctuary is almost fully recovered including the flooring replaced. The NRP crews were first responders, plus we sent several thousand dollars of supplies plus money to replace personal content. Again, thanks to all of you that have given and labored in the flood recovery field. On October 5th, Pastor Stephen and I drove into Baton Rouge. I was able to connect a spirit-filled contractor with Dorothy Wallace to finish and paint the sheetrock in her home and the pregnant lades crisis care home and clinic. NRP crews from Indiana, Pastor Ron Johnson Jr. and Pastor Nick Bergeron from Slaughter, Louisiana hung the sheetrock in both homes. Your giving allowed NRP to buy all the sheetrock, screws, mud and tape. Also, we were able to give her a five thousand dollar check for personal contents. Dorthy Wallace is our pro-life champion and over the past thirty years, she has rescued eighty thousand babies from the abortionist knife in her crisis pregnancy clinic. Right now, my eyes are turned to the wind and flood destruction in Haiti! Our home office just sent $5000 to missionary Terry Nelson in Haiti to rebuild his destroyed school. Again, thank you for caring and praying. South Louisiana is on the road of recovery and rebuild.
I am so grateful that so many of you were first responders to this historical flood and were so passionate to bring hope and help out of our flood relief fund.
I love all of you, Rod Aguillard NRP Senior Overseer
