The writer of Hebrews had several opportunities to discount the law—to tell the readers that the law no longer applies to them, that it doesn’t count anymore. But instead, he affirmsthe law, showing that Abraham, Moses, and Jesus all preached the same thing. The book of Hebrews affirms the Old Testament.
