Logging in

To begin editing the site, you will need to login using the URL, username and password that have been provided you. If you have not received this, please contact Ministry Solutions and request this information.

General Overview

When you login you will arrive at the control panel for the website. This is the 'back end' for the site.

The site is organized into sections, with pages that are only text going into the 'Page' section.

The two main tabs that you will need to work with are the Publish and Edit tabs. Publish is for creating new content and Edit is for editing existing content.

Both of these tabs have drop-down menus so you can select the section you would like to publish or edit. If you are editing, you will see a list  of entries which correspond with that section.

If you get confused at some point, it helps to refer to existing entries to see what was entered. Also, if you are logged in to the control panel and then open a new window and go to the front end of the website (http://nrpastors.com), you will see green edit links beside entries which you can use to quickly find an entry.

Sections and Entries

Event - Each event entry corresponds with an event on the Events page. Enter the date & description, image should be uploaded or provided by a graphic designer for you to upload.  The costs field is for the drop-down menu where users select the amount they are paying for the event. You can add more rows with the little + (plus) link at the bottom.

Home Page Ad - This is to upload images that show on the home page. Should be 8-Bit transparent PNG files provided by a graphic designer.

Media - You can add either audio, video or both to the entry. Audio can be linked to any mp3 file. There is a mp3 folder on the nrpastors.com webhost that you may use. It is best to upload through ftp. If you need instructions on using ftp, please request from either your webhosting service or Ministry Solutions.

Video can be copy and pasted from a video hosting site. Blip.tv is a great free service which you can use their clean designed, unbranded player to play video on your site. To add a video, upload to a blip.tv account and copy the embed code to the Video Embed field in the Media entry.

Newsletter -  This is the download link in the top right corner of the site. You can edit the existing entry or create a new one each month. The most recent entry will show on the site.

NRP Churches, Our Leadership & Our Staff - These sections are generally the same. You can upload a photo, name and description. NRP Churches have a categories tab where you can select the state. Our Leadership has a categories tab to select whether the member is an advisory member or not. The staff section doesn't have categories.

Page - This section is used for all of the pages on the site that are only text. You can edit them here.

  1. The local church/five-fold ministry would have the benefit of the Apostolic Ministry of N.R.P. to ordain and/or set in ministry and to provide covering for the church/ministry.
  2. The local church would have opportunity to be immediately involved in a proven missionary outreach.
  3. The local church would have the Apostolic Ministry of N.R.P. available to come in for “in-house presbytery,” the prophetic setting in of the local church membership.
  4. The offering of recommendations and opportunities for both local and national ministries. Provision of a repertoire of proven ministries for the local church’s edifying and protection.
  5. Each year several Regional meetings to host pastors and their wives will be held in different cities throughout our nation. These will be one-day impact meetings to give input and encouragement and equipping to the local pastor.
  6. An annual National Conference will be announced with inspirational services and practical workshops to strengthen both the pastor/minister and the local church.
  7. Note: As a Covenant Church member, we are asking the Senior Pastor to give a personal tithe or a comparable offering from their missions outreach. These offerings will be used to support our staff and church-planting in North America.

WE BELIEVE:

1. We believe the God-Head is one in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe that the Scriptures, the Holy Bible, is verbally inspired by God and is inerrant; that they are the final authority for all people for all time.

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is God and man, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, crucified in the flesh, resurrected bodily after the third day, ascended into heaven and is now at the right hand of God interceding for us, prior to His immanent return.

4. We believe that man was created in the image of God; sinned and fell resulting in both physical death, spiritual death (separation from God) and eternal death, (hell). All human beings are born lost (with a sinful nature) and need to be saved.

5. We believe that Jesus´ sacrificial death on the cross was for our vicarious substitute and all who believe in Him are justified by His shed blood at Calvary.

6. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the redeemed to go to heaven and the bodily resurrection of the lost to be cast into hell.

7. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

8. We believe that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are extant in the life of the Spirit-filled believer today.

9. We believe that the local church is the expression of the Body of Christ in the world today.

10. We believe in the presence and application today of the five-fold ministry within the church.

OUR MISSION:

1. To be apostolic fathers and mentors to pastors.

2. To be a support system to the pastor and his family.

3. To be a relational oversight to the local church and leadership team.

4. To be a strategic network for greater effectiveness of the local church.

WE'RE UNITING TOGETHER TO:

1. Launch new churches domestically and globally.

2. Develop and release five-fold ministry for regional impact.

3. Advance the voice of moral reformation to our nation.

4. Empower and champion generational success.

In 1972, a local fellowship of churches began with five pastors. It remained that way for several years, but finally it began to grow. However, it was just a "fellowship." After a season of meeting in this format, Pastor Rod Aguillard of Reserve Christian Church, was elected to moderate the group, known as Gulf States Pastors Fellowship (G.S.P.F.).

In 1978, Ministers Training Institute was formed by Jim Clark, and operated from New Roads Church where he was pastor. M.T.I. was subsequently moved to Baton Rouge in 1987.

On a cold rainy night in 1982, Ed Bledsoe (then pastor of Faith Tabernacle in Gonzales), Rod Aguillard (Pastor of Reserve Christian Church), Eddie Pousson (missionary and minister from Bethany World Prayer Center), and Jim Clark, met at New Roads to formulate a mission's vision for the Gulf States Pastors Fellowship and Gulf States Missions Agency (G.S.M.A.) was birthed! That same night, M.T.I. was established as the training arm for all missionary and ministry candidates for the G.S.P.F. and G.S.M.A.

In 1985, we saw our churches come together to fight against abortion, making a strong stand for the sanctity of life. This brought forth the beginning of "United for Life". Our stand for the unborn has become an integral part of who we are at NRP.

In 1994, we began to recognize the nature of apostolic work and thus formed "Apostolic Teams" to give oversight to the growing network of churches.

In 2000, as our influence had spread to a much wider area than just the Gulf States, and as we began to comprehend the scope of the vision the Lord had given to us, it was decided that our name change from "Gulf States Pastors Fellowship" to "International Network of Local Churches."

In 2007, we continue as such, a Network of Related Pastors providing fathering relationships to local pastors, facilitating vision for the local harvest and church growth, and networking in our mission’s vision to reach the world for Jesus!

Dear Pastor,
We are a team of fathers endeavoring to equip each local pastor with all the tools necessary to be a success. At the core of NRP is covenant relational thinking with a pursuit to protect and aid the pastor. Our desire is to complement and enhance your vision, provide you with moral and ethical accountability through relationship, and to walk with you through the joys as well as the storms of life and ministry.
Rejoicing in His Purposes,

ROD SIG
